I'm having a problem with my cage I have a cage 2 X 3 1/2 grids. It has a second floor and I wanted to add a 3rd level 2 X 2. The problem I have is that the 2nd floor alread sags. I have a door in the front that is one grid wide and 2 high. I read that someone had a front that totally removed for cleaning. I thought that was a great idea but when I cut the ties on one side the entire 2nd floor immediately sagged by about 2 inches so I quickly reattached the floor. I am thinking about running wooden poles under the floor to strengthen it but that is awkward and looks dumb to boot. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or what I should be doing that I"m not? My cage is only held together with the ties, I didn't use the white things, I couldn't figure them out.

Re: I'm having a problem with my cage I can't help you at all except to say that I wouldn't want to clean 3 levels! Did you look at my sticky on building a second level? You may find help there.

Re: I'm having a problem with my cage I have a 5 leveled cage, I use wooden planks below the upper floors. It holds it up well and doesn't look stupid.
