| Where to put. I was wondering with my cage is it okay if i just put it on the floor it's dog proofed and everything. |

| Re: Where to put. Stand in the spot you want to put the cage in and see if you feel alot of air moving around such as a breeze. If you feel air movement like that, then it's too drafty. |

| Re: Where to put. Another way to pick up on drafts is to light a candle in the area. Hold it still or place it in several spots, and if the flame flicks around, then you have a draft. That is the method that was described in an Ontario energy savings tips brochure a few years ago. You could try on the floor in a few places, or sit it on a chair for different elevations. I am concerned about what "dog proofed" means, depending on the dog, it is virtually impossible to effectively "dog proof" a cage, especially if it is at dog level. |

| Re: Where to put. So why not put it 'up' on legs just like the one in the photo? It takes no more room and you won't worry about drafts. |
