Cool made my C&C cage today

We picked up our new baby from rescue on Sat. Kept him and Guido apart until today. I built them a new C& C cage, but I ahve to get another pkg of grids to finish it tomorrow.
I had to cut down the width to 18", but it is 57" long and has a 2nd level that is half that length. When I put the baby in he ran laps for a long time. Then I put Guido in and he ran laps too. it was cute.
The cubes I got are 14" instead of 12". it's all I could find but I kind of like the extra height. The 2nd grid panel that is the bottom of the 2nd level needed support so I put a grid under it, kind of like a wall in te lower level. I know they say don;t divide the space, BUT I used it to my advantage to hang water bottles on and the boys don't seem to mind the divider there.
They are happy pigs!

I'm glad someone else has one, because everyone says DO NOT divide the space. But I find the LENGTH is more important to them than the width.
I am going to add an extra panel to the upper level, so it is 3/4 the length of the cage, and make the ramp an "L" shape so it will fit. My basset hound is utterly facinated with the baby. He never paid much attention to Guido, but Guido is very quiet. that baby is a nut!
We have had pigs before and were up to 8 at one time. It's SOOOO easy to get cavy fever!!!! If I had the room, I'd have many many more!
