I've made a C&C cage before, but this time, I'd like to try an easier-to-find alternative to coroplast. I was wondering if linoleum workes just as well as the c. does? If you've made a C&C cage with linoleum, could you please tell me if it's as durable and easy to cope with? Also, is it poisonous to piggies? Thanks!

I think that linoleum should be okay, as long as they don't chew on it. You could try preventing chewing by putting cire cage inside the lino base, so that the cube grids are in the way of the line. Also, I think someone else in the forums mentioned these aluminum things that clips to the spines of folders. I cant remeber what they were called, or where you could find them. Mebbe, if they read this post, they can tell us again ^^

Re: Linoleum??? Hi, I've recently just made a 3x2 cube cage and since our little one is still little it looks HUGE, but i couldn't find the choroplast so i went with linoleum and as hard as it was to "fit" it into the cage we did some rearranging and made it work. I'm actually finding the he's not chewing at it at all, well except at where his water thingie is...beacuse we had to cute out a deeper hole so we could fit it in there without him having to stand up to take a drink, but other wise he's good. he gets lots of hay and toys and loves the room. alicia
