Question Supporting upper levels

Hi, I was wondering, do any of you use anything special to support the upper levels? I notice that in some of the rabbit cages, people did use wooden sticks under the shelfs. What have you used in your cages? I want mine to be pretty sturdy, so there's no chance of the shelf giving way even if all the piggies decide to sit on the same shelf all at once **

Pvc

I used PVC pipe cut about 1/4 of an inch longer than needed. Then I cut 4 notches so that it would then fit in a cross section of the grid to hold it stable.

Thumbs up

For my upper level i have a 2x1 grid uptop.I made the bottom out of 2 grids and then a third grid for the under it so its almost like a T shape. To even let more slack i bought a small set of fiddlesticks and stuck them under the real fiddlestick Ramp Because it was sagging abit.ill post a pic of the ramp.Search for Rampleramp k to see the pic of it.

Thanks for the piccies, Cavy lover. They helped me understand your setup ^^ Do you use the t-shape for your third level as well? I'm guessing not, based on your piccies.

I just checked your album and saw some piccies I hadn't seem before. Are those the ones you were talking about? I lke your setup muchly, it looks pretty fancy, with all the levels and stuff. Mine is starting to look pretty plain by contrast.... time to buy more cubes, methinks ^^
