Third story possible? I'm ready to design a new cage because the pigs need more space. One of the things I'm brainstorming is a third story. They have a second story as of right now and I'm not sure how a third would work. Anyone have a third, and if so, got pics or tips on how it can be done? Thanks!

Re: Third story possible? It depends on how you plan on doing a 3rd level. Ive got a 3 level cage, the main running floors are 2x4's and then I have a 3rd level thats 1x2 on each side with a walkway connecting them (so a 1x4 in the back assentially) There are almost endless configuration's on C&C cages. Check the photogallery's for a ton of ideas. You can check out "My Gallery" for quite a few pictures of my cage.

Re: Third story possible? I have a 2x3 third level over a 1x6 'U' shaped 2nd level. Because of the shape of my extra levels there's some sagging which needs to be reinforced with 'pillars'. Third levels are possible but need to be thought through. Zip ties should definantly be used.
