fighting pigs

Hi! I am having trouble with my piggies fighting. We got a new piggy several months ago. I did everything by the book, they are finally living together in the same cage (a new one neither one of them had lived in before) It has been almost 3 weeks now and my original pig is still snapping at and in general just being mean and unfriendly to the new piggy. I know all of this is normal to determine dominance, but how long with this take? I feel so bad for our new piggie. Sometimes I worry that someone will get hurt. Any feedback?
