Mesh sizing..

I found this site as I was looking for a new cage for my rats.. (VERY nice cages for guineapigs, by the way! They all look happier than any piggers I've seen.) I was wondering if there are grids with smaller mesh sizes available?

Yes. Look at the grids in the Safety gallery: http://www.cavycages.com/photos/show...t=508&password=

You still have to make sure that your rats can't get out between the grids, but that space is very small.

You can also get wire mesh from the hardware/home improvement stores with smaller openings. And go more custom.
