I cant see it to be the grass i put my gp on the grass nearly every day and he has vegitables every day in his hutch
Lettuce
Carrots
Cucumber thats his favorite
Im realy sorry for your loss i know how it feels my guniea was one of 3 the other two died about 1 month after i had them, thay formed a skin problem i took them to the vet and she said she really dident know what it was, they gave them all this Cow injection she said it should help, but it dident help they both died about 2 days later but the guniea pig that servived i still have i named him Lucky he is about 7 years old now and going strong.
He recently got a lump on the back of his neck but it turned out to be a gland that had come up, i asked the women about the cow injection that my GP had and she told me they have now brought out one for guniea pigs, so thats good.
sorry about what happened to you but i woudent hesertate getting another gp maybe have you grass chequed, im sure it wasent the grass maybe consalt a vet or look on the internet try to find what the course was and then you can prevent it from happening again.
I know my guniea pig and i know they love being out side on a nice summer day eating the grass, there that sort of animal i really think it was nothing you could have done  |
