Our new guy does this, too! He's a pigloo-a-holic and turtles around his cage in it. In order for him to eat his veggies he either has to eat it from our hands or have his pigloo removed from his cage for a little while or put the veggies right in front of his pigloo "door".
Two of my pigs are also part goat, apparently. We put frozen water bottles in socks and put them in the cage to keep cool while we're at work. Lola has taken to chewing holes in the sock. And last night I sweeping out the cages and had the plastic grocery bag on the floor of the cage as I swept. Doc kept going after the bag and chewing on it. Finally after 3 times I took the bag out and then he kept coming after my hand broom. I think he was trying to help

He's also been greeting us by standing up on the side of the cage when we bring his salad in. He really is like a little dog.
