I am glad you were able to get them some help. I am sorry that they were in such bad shape that saving their lives was not possible. At least their suffering was ended in a humane manner and by people who care. Much better than dying alone and being tossed in the trash. Hopefully, their sacrifice will save other guinea pigs from the same fate.

Do you know if charges will be brought against the store? It would be great if they were to loose their license to sell animals. You could add more pressure by calling your local newspaper and tv getting them to cover the story.
