My husband and I threw away all of our guinea pig books after finding this website (and GuineaLynx). In comparison, the information in the books was not only erroneous, but in some cases, downright dangerous.
Good luck on finding piggies to adopt/rescue. Definately cat-proof your cage(s). I don't mean to be a drag, but I've read too many horror stories about
cavies losing their lives because of other pets.
