Question Can Girls play with boys?

I Have read when you separate guinea pigs that it's prefered you have a common wall the pigs could still see each other through for companionship. That makes sense to me. Does that apply to girls on one side and boys on the other? I have four males and one female and since I've had her my dominate male, Jax, started fighting with another pig, Louie. Jax and Louie have been housed together since they were young. (Since February) Now both of them are always strutting in front of the wall separating them from my female, Gina. It seems like Jax has claimed her as his and is always nipping at Louie. There has been no bloodshed but I've noticed small tufts of hair here and there in the cage. Nothing to major that has called bald spots or anything. My two other young pigs seem to be left alone. although during playtime out of the cage Jax is always mounting one of them. Any advice? Should Gina be separated from seeing the boys or should Jax be moved by himself? During play time I have Gina play by herself or with one boy at a time. Can she play with the group at all? Even being fixed?
Thanx in advance.
