If you do a forum search for "dragging back legs" you will pull up a few threads that may be helpful.
For now in addition to the steroids keep her in a small area to keep her quiet. Keep her food and water near, of course. Weigh daily to be sure she is not loosing weight. Towels and fleece work well for bedding as the fleece helps to wick the moisture away. You will still need to change the bedding frequently and keep an eye out for urine scald.
I am glad you are going to another vet. This is not necessarily a death sentence! |
