This was a few months ago, I was just thinking about it and decided to post, because I'm guessing most of you American's probably won't have heard about it ..

I won't copy and paste, because I read something in the rules about not doing that unless you have permission..which I don't.

Basically the story is this ..
A little old widowed woman lived alone, and had a pet budgie, who really was the her only companion and company.
Then some young men broke into her house one night, and demanded all her money. She of course was petrified and gave them the little she had ..
one of the thugs then went over to her budgie cage, pulled it out and stamped on it, right in front of the poor woman, who was of course trumatised.

How cruel , sick and unneccairy (sp?)
If i'm allowed to post a link to a news article please let me know.

I don't think the men were ever caught, and the woman was'nt badly injured.
