Hi, my name is Emily. I'm new. I found this site a few months ago and finally decided to make an account today. I currently only have one guinea pig. He is an all white Abyssinian. His name is Hippie. I got him from a pet store before I knew about guinea pig rescues but I have found one sorta close to where I am, and will rescue next time. After getting Hippie guinea pigs have become my favorite "small pet". I have had two hamsters, a gerbil, and a rabbit and while I have loved them all, guinea pigs are now my favorite.

Hippie's favorite foods are carrots and apples.
He loves floor time. He gets out in the living room and hallway everyday for as long as he wants (I leave his cage open).
He always makes me laugh and smile. He is just a great pet.

I got him August 4th 2008.
