It is up to the mods if a thread is to be deleted, or at the very least... locked.
However, I would like to make a statement. I clicked on "no thanks" for a few of the original poster's comments, because I "respectfully disagree." I have no knowledge of this person, only the posts I've read here. A lot of times, as well, people also need to remember that so much emotion is absolutely lost in text. "Have a nice day," is a classic example -- it could be said with a smile or through gritted teeth.
As such, taking everything to heart will make just about anyone feel sad or hurt. If someone is genuinely unsure that people are being mean, it's not considered rude to ask the other person involved to explain what they mean or how they said it, because it might not be coming across properly.
And remember, be nice to others so that they will be nice back to you -- even if they were mean to you to begin with. Kill them with kindness! ;) |
