Re: Goodbye FLEECE!

I have 2 sons under 3, my husband and 6 male guinea pigs in a less than 1000 square foot apartment. We have a lot of laundry and I have to walk 10 apartments down to get to the laundry room and pay $3 a load but still I think it is better. I use an under the bed storage thing and litter boxes for wood chips, carefresh and hay mixture for their litter boxes. I clean those daily (they do about 50% of their poop and pee in there) and sweep poops and top with fresh hay. It takes me maybe 40 minutes to clean my 2x12 cage and feed all 6 of them. I dont even know how many sets I have. I have tons of fleece and need more towels. But I like it. I have a piggie that is a borrower too. I just sew him a little sleeping bag and then he has a place where he can do that. To keep it cleaner longer I put down small mats of fleece and towels where they pee and poop the most and then I just change those when icky. Then I dont have to change everything. Well good luck to everyone no matter what you choose. There are always solutions to problems that may or may not work, just ask!!!
