You're not going to be able to get a guinea pig of the exact age and gender of the pig you have at Petco, either. They aren't going to be able to tell you an age with any kind of certainty and it's more likely than not that the pig you get there will be mis-sexed also.
On top of that, a pig you buy there is likely to be sick.
