Did you check your local animal shelters and craigs list?

Checked all in the link you provided, and none came up. Knoxville is a whopping six hour drive from Memphis so that is absolutely out of the question. Yes, There are guinea pigs on craigslist but I want to be able to get exactly the age and gender of a guinea pig that I want to be able to cater to the one I have. Chances are these same cavys came from a petco as those seem to be the only place that I have found as well... so it is starting to seem as though I am better off straight up buying one from a petco.
