Coroplast question?

I found coroplast but mostly every one use 4mm thick is that equivelant to 1/4 inch thick?

Is 1/4 inch thick okay to use for the bottom of the cage?

Would 1 4ft x 8ft sheet cover a 3 x 6 bottom plus sides?
