Re: Making a "sleeping bag" cozy. (part 1)

Thanks for these great instructions! I just finished making one for our piggies. However, although I do have a sewing machine, I have had little practice, so I learned a lot from my mistakes today. (I also sewed bedding out of fleece and cut-up cotton rich mattress pads, another cozy and another bag that was supposed to be a cozy until mom sewed the wrong sides facing each other and was forced to get creative to salvage it for my child.)
The foam was kind of hard to sew through, and my machine didn't like it very much. Would you happen to have any tips for working with foam in the future? I still have a lot of it left, so I'm sure I'll have to find something to do with it.
