How do you clean the rug if you cannot do laundry? I imagine that rugs would be harder to clean than fleece. I use coin laundry too and I still prefer fleece over litter bedding.

I've used litter box before and my pigs would use them sometimes and would just go right next to them most of the time, so I stopped using it. Now my cage is 100% fleece. I sewed a small fleece pillow case for them. It's made of 30 inch square baby blanket folded in third and sewn on the sides. I tuck an incontinence bed pad inside and toss these in the corners and under hideys where they mostly do their business. It's been working great. I flip them over after the first day and replace them every two days. This is the incontinence pads I use.
