I have never had any problems until Just recently.
My piggies have a new found obsession in laying in their own urine. This is something new to me, and I feel like I'm having to wash all the "yellow" off of them! and not to mention the smell! I do two cage cleanings a day and now it's getting out of hand and I can only imagine what kind of stuff that it's happening to their skin. I did just change their bedding I have a rug laid down, I can't use fleece because of the laundry costs, and I have them in a multi level cage-Like a Dog cage with some modifications. I have a litter box but I have found that they do not use it
when I had them litter box trained.
I got to thinking that I could lay some puppy pad down under the rugs and maybe that would help, I can't say that it would work our not.
I'd like to hear some opinoins.
