I don't really think there is such a thing as a modified vegetarian, but any effort makes a difference.

On another note, I once asked a friend who ate fish but no other meat why she thought it was okay to eat fish. Her answer was that fish weren't "cute and cuddly", so its was "fine to eat them because they don't really do much".

I wholeheartedly disagree, but that was her reasoning.
