When and if you own your own forum you can set the rules and make them whatever you like. At this present time, you are participating in this one, which you don't own, so it's probably in your best interest to respect the rules of it, whether or not you agree with or like them. And, hey, if you find them so intolerable, nothing says you have to stay.
