CitraSolv makes an amazing [vegan/non-animal tested] drain cleaner.
But my fave is home-made. It dates back to the Science Fair days..
pour about half a cup of baking soda down the drain. Follow with about a cup of vinegar. Repeat as necessary.
You can also use baking soda and boiling water, if you're in a pinch/out of vinegar. It has a similar effect.
As for maintenance, a kettle's worth of boiling water every couple of weeks works for me. |
