I know everyone left great ideas for hay racks here, but I just thought I'd add a suggestion for the litter in the litter box. Of course carefresh can be used as mentioned a few above, but I think it can get expensive. So for a cheaper option, you could try
Yesterday's News, it's a cat litter and it's made from paper. I bought a 13 lb bag at Walmart for 5 bucks, and with my two piggies it's already lasting over a month with more left in the bag.
