Re: Going Vegetarian for Lent

When I was a vegetarian I weighed more than I do now as a non-veg. about 10 pounds more.

Cravings are what eventually broke me. I just really really wanted bacon one morning, and I just kind of gave it up. I don't really eat meat that much now, maybe 2-3 times a week.

I also never had any anemia problems while I was veggie. It was high enough that I was abele to give blood, and did so on multiple occasions.

Not sure how it would affect your other issues. But, as usual, it will affect everyone differently. I suggest you talk with your doctor and ob-gyn about some of these concerns as they will have the most insight about you and how these dietary changes will affect you.
