I'm sorry to hear about your dilemma.
I'm sure whatever decision you make will be a hard one. But, I'm glad you came here for advice instead of just dumping them somewhere.
My personal advice, is to take some time to think about it. Maybe make a list of pros and cons for keeping or rehoming them. I think what the others said about rehoming them yourself would be the best route. Then you would have the peace of mind that they are being well taken care of (by you) until you find a perfect home for them.
Anyway, like I said, I'm glad you're taking time in making this tough decision. *hugs*
