I'm running short on time here, but I would like some input from you guys as I mull this thing over.
In short, I am wondering whether I should rehome my two boys, Jeter and Mailen. They are fantastic and beautiful little creatures, but its getting difficult to have time for all 4 of them. I would keep my two girls because one has some medical issues and has already been severely abused once, and I intend on making me her forever home. However, all these pigs are driving me insane! If I rehome these boys, I will be able to make my girls a bigger cage, and they would have more stuff that they wouldn't normally get with the boys. Buuuuut, these boys are pretty special, and I don't want to make a hasty decision that I will regret later. If I do rehome these, should I just hand them over to my shelter? I don't want to add to their overcrowdedness, but I don't know how easily I can handle finding an owner for them myself. If I do give them to the shelter, I will feel like such a schmuck...and I know I will have a hard time not running back and re-adopting my guys!
I love all of my pigs, and if there was a way to make my life easier and keep them, I would. Costs have been driving me up the wall as well, and I'm wondering if this is just easier. I find another home for the boys, and my girls get extra special care. HELP!
