Experiences in getting a pig from Craigslist

How successful have you been? I haven't gone this route before because when I was looking for pigs there just really weren't any listed. This time I wasn't really looking, but when I was looking for breeder ads (to flag, of course) it seems like there are suddenly so many pigs out there. Mostly male. I saw this one little guy who is SO cute. Heartwrenchingly cute! She got him in January, he doesn't get along with her existing pig so now she has him living in a cat carrier. So I had to email the girl about him to either give him a good home and try to adopt him out to someone who will take care of him properly, or have him neutered and keep him. She listed him on Wednesday, I emailed her on Thursday, and I know that it's only been a day but I haven't heard back yet. In fact, this is the 3rd pig that I emailed about in the past week or so and no one has responded. Do piggies listed on craigslist really go that fast? Some I've seen listed for weeks! But they're pairs and mostly (supposedly) male. A male pair simply won't work for me since I have females. Plus I feel like I need to "save" this little guy. I'm kind of bummed out, actually. So what has your experience been? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that she will get back to me, but since he is in central MA (and I'm in southern CT) if I'm going to get him, it basically has to be over the weekend

I don't know, maybe I'm just venting. Should I just assume that he's already been given to someone or should I keep on trying? I'm finding that I really want this little guy!
