The divider for the kitchen-like area is removable. Sorry if there was already threads about this, I am brand new to the forum and don't even have a piggy yet - I am just thinking about getting one. |
You make some good points. Here is my opinion:
1. There is a "find materials section on the home page:
Where?
I got my coroplast at lowes (they sell small pieces that you can just tape together.
2. You would still have to use bedding to absorb the urine. Fleece is very inexpensive at walmart. You can get a yard for about $5 which is about all you need.

a good thing to put under it is just some old beach towels.
3. You can actually make a lid with some leftover grids. You dont
need a lid, but it might be helpful. My Little Pony Cage - Guinea Pig Cage Photos
