Re: Can't Find Pigs To Rescue??

Good news, I've adopted a male named Sammy. Use the Craigslist for a nearby state. This little piggy is so sweet. I will be bringing him in to the vet on Friday. I had to make a few modifications to his cage since he has to be quarrentined there for a while right? He was being kept with a rabbit in a rabbit cage, meaning he was walking on wire grids. I do not see any injury to his feet, but i will leave that diagnosis to the vet. I measured cardboard for the bottom of the cage and then placed bedding on top of it. On the top floor I place cardboard under the kitchen area. He seems so happy. He ate like a little piggy veggies and lots of hay, got his fill an then went to lie down in the bedding like it was a down filled mattress. He was out like a lite until filling time again. Lots of weeking and he doesn't really know me. I can't wait until he meets my other little fellow. I was told he is a year old and if that's correct then my little guy is much younger just judging by size. I will keep you updated. My daughter is soooo happpy.
