Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 I've been a vegetarian for years now. Very, Very rarely do I eat fish (pescitarian). At the office, I'm the only vegetarian. My co-workers tease me once in a while (not in a meanful way) because I nibble on nuts and veggies all day. My boss recently became vegetarian. Red meat wrecs havoc on a humans body...causes elevated cholesterol, heart disease, takes longer (up to 3 days) to digest among others. Not worth it. Living on a vegetarian diet slows the aging process, is a less expensive meal plan and so on. Supplements do need to be taken. I certainly don't go around asking "are you a meat eater?" It doesn't bug me though when people ask if I'm a meat eater or a vegetarian. I usually announce it as we have lunch brought in by reps. |
