No, Clorox is bleach. It's a brand that makes it. I don't think amonia is good either. I'd say any chemical with harsh, strong smells that you need to wear gloves with is out of the question. When I first moved out (I was 19), I cleaned my apartment by myself one day and I was using bleach. I didnt think I needed to wear goves because I never did when I was cleaning. I was washing down the walls and after a while I got bad chemical burns on my hands.

When I clean anything, I only use environmentally friend products. Mind you, I have a wood pen for my piggies so I don't use cleaning poducts on it, it's more just changing everything and refilling. I think a lot of people use vinegar, being as it has high naturally high acid levels in it so it does the job. Dilute a bit with water and scrub scrub scrub!
