I posted about a month ago and was going to get him neutered and adopt a friend for him. I have no idea what happened. He seemed perfectly fine, eating good, acting normal. This past weekend I woke up one morning and he was dead in his cage. I feel so bad. I just hope he didn't suffer. I feel terrible. I keep telling myself that at least his last few months were happy. (I adopted him from a friend who had no time for him and kept him in a small cage.) I built him a much larger cage and tried to pay as much attention to him as I could, given that I work full-time. Still, seems like I should have noticed that something was wrong!!
