Even though chat speak is used too often in everyday life, and many of my friends use it, I still don't understand a good chunk of it. I think it is a good rule to have. It helps maintain peace I think, people won't get so befuddled if everyone knows what someone else is saying.
I agree with Ly&Pigs' rant. The mods on this site take alot of crap from other members on this site, and they don't deserve it. They all put alot of work into the site to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone. If people can't comply with the rules, then that is their problem, not theirs. If all of the other members can comply with a few simple rules, then, why are they entitled to bend and break the rules? The mods and administrators are not mean, just enforcing the rules.
