Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Honestly, most vets would be willing to work something out with you (monthly payment plants etc.) if you cannot pay full upfront. All you have to do is talk to them about it, but you never know until you try. However if an animal is clearly in pain and suffering, I highly doubt they would turn you away and IF they did ... I would make BIG news about it.
Though I agree with what has been said, you may be "poor" but you have to think ahead for situations like this. Plan ahead and have a fund set up. $5 a week into an account is not that difficult to do... then when you need it, its there. I'm a college student, I have very little money ... yet I am able to provide for a HORSE and a chinchilla. I have an emergancy funds account that I started before I got these pets, and I am thankful everyday I have it and that I thought ahead. |
