That is a real shame. The whole thing might have been avoided if someone had just put a leash on the rotweiler. Illinois does not have conceal carry at this time. Everybody needs to leash their dogs. The article doesn't say much though. It does not say whether the man was at an off-leash dog park or not though. If that was the case the man with the gun was definatley in the wrong. Well, hopefully he saved his puppy's life. It is too bad that he had to kill a dog to save his though.
