Re: mostly veggie, but bit of a dilema!

My personal feeling is that as long as the animal had a truly good, natural life, a pasture life, and was raised on a small-scale operation [even better if you know/get to know the farmer personally], then it's fine to eat once in a while. Humans aren't adapted to consume as much meat as we [Americans, generally] do. A serving in two or three meals per week is plenty.

On that note, because I know I'm going to get raaaged at for saying the above, the reason that I don't eat meat is because I couldn't kill an animal and then eat it. I think that it's cowardly to pay someone else to do my dirty work. The environmental, health and whatever other benefits are just along for the ride.

Bah! I just realized you were asking about sweets too. That stuff is bad for her anyways, generally, so maybe you should just go with that argument instead of it not being veg?
