Re: How much food do you give to your piggies?

1/8 a cup as in a measuring cup. They say that adult piggies shouldn't get more than 1/4 cup of pellets per pig, per day. Unlimited pellets only for baby pigs under 6 months old. If they're squalking for food, they should be given more hay and veggies instead of more pellets.

My pigs are young still. Only one of the three is probably at or over 6 months old so they still get a whole bowl of pellets (it probably holds about a cup or so). They never empty the bowl completely throughout the day so they're pretty much self regulating at about 1/4 cup or so anyway.
