Yeah I like to change mine too. I usually buy new ones at least once a year and toss the old ones just for sanitation purposes. I do clean them out as well throughout the year with soap, hot water, and a bottle brush.

I had one bottle before that I had bought for my ferrets that had a valve instead of a ball, they had to push the valve with their nose and then water would come out. I liked it but after a bit it to started leaking, it did work for about 8 months though.

Thanks for the links, I will check out those bottles. I may try one of the spring action ones and see how it works.
