I read the thread and am not sure what exactly you are referring to as some being rude, or arrogant.
I do know this, you won't find a better
GP forum for *correct* care and information out there. It would be in your
GPs best interest to stick around and glean all the information you can from here. Yes, there are many passionate people here, it's not a bad thing though.
When I first started visiting and reading (before ever joining as a member) some of the posts seemed harsh to me. However, instead of getting upset and leaving, I decided to find out what exactly the bigger picture was. I learned about why breeding and pet stores are such sensitive subjects. I learned why false information can be so dangerous. I learned that adoption/rescue is the only way to go. I learned that to run such an informational site, most posts are to the point and you won't see many smilies running around (Still hard to refrain from using them myself!).
I hope that you will see that no one was attacking you.
