I am having a problem keeping wheatgrass growing. I am trying to grow it inside (near a window, so it gets plenty of sunlight) in about an inch of dirt in a tray. I planted the seeds and the wheatgrass grew fine at first. Within a week it was several inches tall, so I cut it, leaving about an inch, and fed it to the piggies. Over the next week, only about half of the grass grew back, and a lot of it is dead. I cut the grass again, and now hardly any of it is growing back. What am I doing wrong? (I am keeping it watered regularly).
