Question How to make my room safer for floor time?

You see, my room is normally where I play with him but I'm nervous about letting him run for floor time because I don't want him chewing cords to my TV, computer etc cause mostly I don't want him getting hurt if he gets shocked from chewing on them, in addition to not wanting my computer or TV or PS2 ruined. I also don't want him getting under my bed and stuff, could I just block off those openings like under my bed and such with grids or what can I do to set up my room so I can give him floor time more? I used to just let him play around on my bed but I don't think he's getting enough exercise that way, plus I don't like wee-wees on my bed either. I am just concerned that it's not as adequate as run around floor time but at the same time I haven't really done it cause I'm worried about his safety.
