I witnessed a ferocious attack- 2 pit bulls ganged up on my neighbor's dog. Her dog survived the attack but later died at the vet clinic due to complications from her wounds. It was sickening to watch. It was the middle of winter and there was ice on the sidewalks. My neighbor was using a broom to get the pit bulls off the dog but it wasn't working. I tried turning on my water hose but it was frozen so that plan didn't work either. The pits eventually ran off when 3 of us yelled at them with our makeshift weapons (a hose, broom, and tree branch.) We later found out that the pits attacked several other dogs before the police came and exterminated them. Two of the dogs died. I agree with what everyone else said. Definitely file a report!
