Not sure about the Sweet Meadow pellets, I need to see an ingredients list. I may have it somewhere on my computer though.
You could email KM and ask if you could buy sample packs of hay (timothy and bluegrass) and pellets (either) to try. Otherwise, it's just going to be a persistance game.
