I try to identify any breeders on craiglist all the time. I go on at night and in the morning to check....I also check up for any guinea pigs. In the south florida region it is an average of one pig a day, and usually the reason for giving them up is allergies, or "mistaken" babies, but I always make sure that the intention for them to go out to a good home is there, and I always email them with information sites like this and others....Good luck!!
