Hi! I'm glad for the strict rules. Yes, it can make it a little stressful when worrying about if you're following correctly, but, at the same time, it's so much better for those trying to read the messages. I'm a fanatic when it comes to grammar and punctuation, so I can't help but to get frustrated when someone has a message filled with misspelled words.
I do want to ask something, though, if that's ok.

Someone asked if "LOL" was chatspeak, and someone else said that they thought so. Is that the case? I'm terrible for using "LOL", but messages are so hard to understand tone sometimes, since you don't actually hear the other person. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm very down-to-earth. I tend to smile and laugh quite a bit, so I use smilies and "LOL". Of course, my philosophy is that you have four choices when you react to something. You can smile, laugh, get mad, or cry. Well, I prefer to smile or laugh.

I just want to find out if I need to stop that, or if it's ok.

Luckily, this group has the laughing face, so I can use it....if I remember it.

Thanks!
~Michelle~
